Training begins in our client's warehouse/office and may transition to actual job sites. Attendees become comfortable with advanced gear and techniques by solving increasingly difficult problems during real hands-on training. Attendees practice suspensions from dorsal, sternal, and pelvic rings as they learn the hazards of suspension and practice self-rescue techniques.

Our advanced steep roof safe access techniques are now implemented across the nation. Our sister roofing company, Blue Glass, LLC, focuses 90% of our roof work on steep pitch slate repairs and permanent anchor installations. We re-roofed asphalt shingle roofs for years and experienced the limitations/frustrations of fall protection "compliance in a bucket" systems.
We evolved out of necessity and implemented the best gear from the arborist and rope access industries into our daily use. Now, we practice 100% fall protection tie offs (from the first step off the ground until we have completed the job and returned to the ground). We know what works, what doesn't, how to work safely and comfortably while exceeding OSHA's compliance standards.
We invented the tools necessary to do our work that we could not find elsewhere. These tools include the Bibby (asphalt shingle repair tool), SLATOR (roof ladder bracket), V-1 temporary anchor and V-5 and V-8 permanent roof anchors, and more. Our permanent anchors are regularly specified by architects into roof renovation projects across the country.
We created a comprehensive ROOFING SAFETY LEVEL program for all our new recruits. Each new hire enrolled in this 6 month training program and emerged a more responsible employee and took great pride in their advanced roof safety/access planning and skill set.
If you own a roofing business, then you know that sooner or later, you will have an employee or subcontractor fall. It can be life changing for everyone in your entire company. We've only had 2 falls (since inception in 2004) and thankfully, because our employees practiced our safety training on every job, both employees were captured quickly by their tight ropes and harnesses. Within 15 minutes, each person was back at work.
