V-5 Permanent Roof Anchor System
The patent-pending V-5 permanent anchor system consists of the anchor plate (3/8"stn. stl.), backer plate (1/8"stn. stl.) and pressure plate (1/8"stn. stl.), 3/8" grade 8 bolts and hardware. It's ideal for use with standard roof sheathing and up to1/4" thick slate, cedar shake and asphalt shingle roofs. Lead time may be 45 days depending on stock.
The flashing system must be purchased separately.
The standard V-5 is NOT suitable for use with horizontal lifeline systems.
Inspect prior to every use and at the end of use.
Do not use if the anchor has been deformed or if the bolts have loosened.
Remove from service if the anchor is deformed.
Custom anchor sizes are available upon request to meet specific loading scenarios.

Training is also available in Espanol.
On an existing slate roof, with easy access to the attic, this turn-key process takes 2 skilled roofers about 75 minutes (once they have access to the anchor location on the roof). On an asphalt shingle roof, the most difficult part may be separating the shingles. Our Bibby tool is ideal for problematic sticky asphalt shingles.
Once done, the low profile anchor and bronze/copper flashing kit will provide anchor protection indefinitely.
