Planning for easy, safe future access and working conditions is not difficult.  All it takes is deciding that it will be a priority.  Our client in the photos below had a leaking flat metal roof (with all the normal temporary patches that fail after a few years).  They allowed us to make something unique.  The roof below is 11 gauge stainless steel with a 7 gauge frame, welded water tight, sanded and painted flat black.  We added an access hatch and reinforced perimeter anchors so future workers can simply pop out the hatch, clip in, and go to work.
