Using our patent-pending clamping mechanism, the SLATOR and SLATOR-mini are incredible tools for securely clamping a ladder on a slate or asphalt shingle roofs.  The red SLATOR, meets OSHA 1926, 1910 and ANSI Z359.1 requirements for fall protection (for 1 person and gear 310 pounds or less) when installed according to our instructions.
The blue SLATOR-mini is not an anchor point for fall protection.  There are times when you need to clamp a ladder for access only and you do not want to use the SLATOR in that specific location or circumstance because it's a poor location for someone to anchor or take a fall.  This is the ideal time to use the SLATOR-mini.  Always use other fall protection when using the SLATOR-mini.
Bibby:  Patented in 2016, the stainless steel Bibby is THE TOOL to use to separate well-sealed asphalt shingles and to repair holes in shingles.
Fasteners are a critical component of an OSHA Compliant System.  The SLATOR and SLATOR-mini have been designed to perfectly fit the SLATOR-approved fasteners.  These fasteners have been tested, screw in easily with a cordless impact driver, are helpful for locating roof rafters because they are not fully threaded, have a coating that wears off so it's possible to see if a fastener has ever been used and they come in a conveniently sized box of 120, just perfect for keeping 1 box in every work truck!  Never compromise your OSHA Compliant System by using fasteners for securing an anchor point for fall protection more than once.  Use a FRESH fastener for every installation.  Click here to go to our video page and see what makes these fasteners fantastic!
